Environmental Health And Safety

In the broad field of Environmental Management, health and safety are aspects of the human environment that can not be overlooked or left unaddressed. Often in countries like Botswana where health and safety law is continually developing as a profession, the onus of management falls on the environmental professionals and particularly those writing EMPs and carrying out site monitoring.

For this reason it is important to be assured that the Environmental Consultant is qualified and knowledgeable in assessing risks to health from chemical, biological and physical agents, their monitoring and control, is able to make informed contributions to the Client’s policy-making processes, and examine workplace conditions and risk management policies critically.

Director Jill Westra has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety Management and has extensive experience in Environmental Health and Safety monitoring on a variety of construction projects throughout Botswana.

All of our qualified environmental monitors have additionally been trained through NOSA-accredited health and safety programmes and can also double as SHE Representatives and safety officers if required.
